How to train a kitten to use PetWC?

To train a kitten to use PetWC as easy as to accustom to normal tray. To train a kitten use PetWC, first turn off the power or shut off the water to PetWC. Then attach the transparent blister pad (available in the sales kit), which block the flow in the sewer. It will be easier to accustom the animal to PetWC for someone who bought a well-bred kitten from a good breeder. Kitten in this case has already grown up and has the skills of self-use of toilet tray. This taught him mom cat and caring breeder, who sent usual filler from the kitten tray to the new owner. So, in the new house kitten will keep his head and find his new toilet by the familiar smell. Pour in a little PetWC filler which gave you a breeder or regular cat litter. Show to the kitten where the PetWC is, put him there and dig filler by his foot. Smart kid will immediately understand what's what. Typically, kittens need to go to the toilet almost immediately after the eating, so repeat this procedure right after the kitten eaten. A few days repeat the procedure and the kitten will learn where to go to the toilet. After the kitten gets used to enjoy PetWC with filler, start every day to reduce the amount of filler. After a week stop putting filler in PetWC. If the kitten is still okay to use the toilet, then remove the transparent cover and turn PetWC. Do not be surprised if the kitten will continue to try to dig their waste - smart PetWC wait when the kitten is gone and only then will produce sweep down. Congratulations - you taught kitten to use a PetWC!

How to teach an adult cat to use PetWC?

If you already have a cat and she is accustomed to go to the regular tray, then teach her how to use PetWC is not difficult. Choose a location where it will be installed PetWC. Transfer the tray there that your cat is accustomed to use and show new position to her. Wait until the cat gets used to use tray at the new location. Replace this with PetWC. Turn off PetWC or shut off the water to it. Then attach the transparent blister pad (available in the sales kit), which block the flow in the sewer. Pour the filling which was used by your cat. Once the cat gets used to enjoy PetWC filled, start every day to reduce the amount of filler. About a week stop putting filler in PetWC. If the cat continues to use the toilet properly, then remove the transparent cover and switch on PetWC. Do not be surprised if the cat will continue to try to dig their waste, smart PetWC wait when it will go away, and only after that will produce sweep down. Congratulations - you have taught your cat to use PetWC!

In what case an additional power adapter may be useful?

In the standard case PetWC powered by four batteries "AA". And it’s enough for at least one year of use. PetWC predict you in advance when you have to change batteries – by the flashing sensor. But it is possible to use conventional electric power for PetWC. For this purpose you need an extra power adapter. You can connect power adaptor directly to power grid (100 to 230 volts with a frequency of 50-60 Hz –i.e., normal electricity in your home), or you can take 12 volts via an external transformer for safety (check with an electrician, how best to do in your case). With the simultaneous use of an optional power adapter and batteries, in case you turn off the external power supply, PetWC automatically switch to battery power, and when the external power is restored, it will automatically switch to it.
